Background:
At the age of 36, Rick purchased a small aviation components company that grew to become market leader Unison Industries, later sold to General Electric in 2002. Rick is a past Chairman of the General Aviation Manufacturers Association and Director of the Be A Pilot program. He is also a Trustee of Harvey Mudd College. Currently, Rick runs an investment company, The Spring Bay Companies, with more time to devote to running The Sontag Foundation. He enjoys travel, photography and drinks the occasional glass of good wine.
