Marvin Windows Donates $500,000 to Sontag Foundation
Ponte Vedra Beach, FL (May 15, 2006) - The Sontag Foundation announced today that it has received a $500,000 donation from Marvin Windows and Doors, a Warroad, Minnesota company. The money will be used by the Sontag Foundation to help fund future grants.
According to Kay Verble, Executive Director of the Sontag Foundation, “We were stunned at the generosity of Marvin Windows. It’s great to know that there are companies like Marvin who feel compelled to fund charitable causes and give these sums out of the goodness of their hearts. We are very appreciative of the donation. Rest assured that the money will be put to work immediately to help fund the medical research grants we’ll be awarding this summer.”
The Sontag Foundation, headquartered in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, is a private foundation which funds medical research in the fields of brain cancer and rheumatoid arthritis and also contributes to various social and educational causes.
